Our idyllic home in Neustadt an der Weinstraße served as the base for the adventure of top chef Björn Freitag and travel expert Tamina Kallert, who, together with SWR colleague Susanne Nett, explored the depths and nuances of our wines and Palatinate delicacies. But while the stories revolve around traditional wine, we at Weingut Bähr have indulged in an innovative twist: the creation of award-winning non-alcoholic wines.
While Tamina Kallert marvelled at the world's largest wine barrel in Bad Dürkheim and made Palatinate mustard with manufactory owner Yvonne Ortloff, our own revolution quietly and passionately refined and perfected the taste of non-alcoholic wine.

Björn Freitag, who prepared the most famous Palatinate national dish in Wachenheim an der Weinstraße with Saumagen pope Klaus Hambel, would perhaps be surprised at how flavourful our non-alcoholic wines can complement the local cuisine. Our aim is to enable everyone to enjoy and savour fine wines, even those who consciously choose not to drink alcohol.
With the same care with which Grumbeersupp and Paderborner Landbrot are prepared, we have created a range of non-alcoholic wines that fulfil the Palatinate's promise of quality. These wines are not just an alternative; they are a category in their own right that stands for a new, healthy and inclusive enjoyment experience.
