Flavour circle
The flavour circle
from BÄHR
With the flavour circle we have developed, we want to enhance the taste of our non-alcoholic wines, non-alcoholic Seccos and Grape juice-based drinks visualise and offer a shopping aid. To this end, we have identified five characterising aspects that describe the taste of beverages. These are for all wines: „flavour“, „fruit“, „acidity“ and „sweetness“. For white and rosé wines, the fifth characterising aspect is „flowers“, and for red wines „tannins“. The number of colour-coded segments corresponds to our subjective perception of the intensity of the respective flavour aspects: the more segments are colour-coded, the more intense the expression. The flavour circle is intended to help with purchasing decisions and to show the taste of the wine at a glance.
