We at BÄHR - WEIN ALKOHOLFREI GENIESSEN have high standards for our products. Thanks to our many years of work, we have a solid knowledge of all aspects of alcohol-free wines. And yet we continue to work on improving and refining the grapes, the base wines and the technical processes for producing alcohol-free wines and sparkling wines. This is the basis for the large number of awards, honours and special prizes in various competitions.
The AWC Vienna is the largest officially recognised wine evaluation in the world. Every year, over 10,000 wines from over 1,000 producers from all over the world are assessed in a blind tasting with strict tasting guidelines. The AWC Vienna is officially recognised by the European Union as an award-winning wine evaluation.
Ratings are given for the wines submitted. An overall rating for the respective winery is compiled from the individual ratings. Since 2021 and have now received 27 awards. We have been recognised as a 4-star winery based on the average rating of our products and the as the only participant with exclusively non-alcoholic wines!
Meinigers
The tasting of non-alcoholic wines took place for the first time as part of the MUNDUS VINI Spring Tasting 2023.
Due to the outstanding overall performance with three gold and four silver medals Bähr Pfalztraube GmbH was awarded a Special prize for the best producer to the non-alcoholic specialists from the Wine Route. With our VITISECCO ROSÉ, we also presented the „Best of Show“ in the category „Sparkling Rosé“.
The DLG is a neutral testing organisation for food. Products submitted there for testing undergo a sensory analysis by specially trained testers. This involves appearance, sensory properties and flavour. Laboratory tests and preparation, packaging and labelling tests are also carried out. The number of points achieved determines whether a product is awarded gold, silver or bronze. A „DLG Gold Award“ is given to products that fulfil all test criteria without any faults.
We have been successfully participating in the DLG quality test since 2015. Our awards regularly represent premieres:
In 2017, we had the first non-alcoholic wine secco, the ever received a DLG award had received. In the following year, we put the first non-alcoholic wine, who was awarded this honour.
Due to our outstanding operational performance at the annual award ceremony, we were 2020 the Federal Honour Award naturally the first non-alcoholic wine producer ever.
2023 we received for five years of successful participation in uninterrupted succession at the DLG tests for the first time. Price for long-term product quality. We were able to achieve this success also 2024 repeat!

ASIA WINE Trophy
„It has always been something special to receive this award. And it should stay that way.“ This is the motto of DWM - German Wine Marketing, which organises this competition under the patronage of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) and the International Union of Oenologists (UIOE). Among other things, emphasis is placed on strict notarial control and oenological analyses of the award-winning wines.
The total eight gold medals for our products speak for themselves!

At the largest tasting of non-alcoholic wines in 2022, with more than 240 products, we were able to win the title of „Best selection“ win. „The tasting was No failure four wines instead, which we recommend without reservation can.“ (Meineinger's wine industry 18/2022)
